Space Economy Days 2026

Hosted by ECSECO Members only

The ECSECO Space Economy Days bring together the European space economy community to discuss the current trajectory of the sector, how public and private actors can create better synergies, and how to ensure sustainable long-term growth in an evolving space landscape.

Save the date! On 19 & 20 January 2026, ECSECO members will gather at the ESA Headquarters in Paris (and online) for the highly anticipated Space Economy Days.

This members-only hybrid event (in-person + streaming) is designed to encourage open discussion between public and private institutions, academia, and international organisations. Together, we will discuss the sector’s trajectory and how to ensure sustainable long-term growth through better synergies.

Program Overview

Day 1 | Commercialisation: We will examine how the transformation in public-private relations is reshaping market dynamics, and the resulting impacts on business models and investment flows. We will also discuss the European Launcher Challenge and the Copernicus Contributing Missions in more detail. Join speakers from the EIB, OECD, Atlantic Alliance, Rational Futures, Constellr and ESA in these first sessions.

Day 2 | Sustainability: We will explore how sustainability can be considered a driver of the future space economy, discussing how institutions are defining what is sustainable in the space context and how the concept is integrated across the sector. Join speakers from UNEP, the European Commission, Thales Alenia Space and ESA in this second day.

Don’t miss this chance to discuss the evolving space landscape and get in touch personally with speakers and the ECSECO network.

Format: Hybrid (In-person & Streaming) Access: Exclusive to ECSECO Members
